BREAKING: After the break with Garrido — here is Campagnolo's new partner

ANNONS

After the break from Javi Garrido, Padel Alto can now report that Brazilian Lucas Campagnolo has found a new partner. "Campa" moves back to the backhand position and now pairs with left-handed Spaniard Jon Sanz, who previously left Miguel Lamperti.

The pair's first competition will be the Menorca Open. The newly formed couple will end the 2022 season together, Campagnolo himself declared to Padel Alto.

Lucas Campagnolo was left without a partner as Javi Garrido chose to pair up with Federico Chingotto. Something "Campa" railed against in an interview by Padel Alto.

Javi Garrido later came out and claimed that Campagnolo misunderstood the whole situation and that many players on the circuit like to talk bullshit.

Campagnolo and Garrido started playing together in the middle of last season, "Campa then switched position to the forehand position (drive). Now, starting the next tournament, he will switch back to the backhand position again, something he played with compatriot Lucas Bergamini before teaming up with Javi Garrido.

Garrido with Lamperti

While waiting for Federico Chingotto and Juan Tello to go their separate ways after the World Padel Tour's Buenos Aires Masters, Javi Garrido teams up with Miguel Lamperti for the Menorca Open. Lamperti will be reunited after the Buenos Aires Open with Mike Yanguas, who will play two tournaments with Paquito Navarro before his project with Juan Tello begins starting with Premier Padel's P1 tournament in Egypt.
