Confirmed: After Tapia — Miguel Lamperti will play Premier Padel

Miguel Lamperti will finally make his debut in the new Premier Padel circuit. The Argentinean has been signed up with his partner Jon Sanz for the P1 in Mendoza, Argentina.

Nox player Miguel Lamperti will finally participate in the new Premier Padel circuit. The Argentinean, current number 20 in the world, is on the official list of P1 in Mendoza (Argentina) along with his usual partner, Jon Sanz

The Nox brand has advised its players not to participate in the tournaments of the new circuit created by QSI and FIP and endorsed by the PPA.

After the absence of NOX players in Doha and Rome, Rafa Mendez was the first of the players sponsored by the brand to participate in the tour. The Spaniard debuted at the Paris Major and played at Roland Garros. In an interview with Padel Alto during the tournament, Mendez said that his sponsor's request made sense due to Nox's commercial link with the WPT circuit.

Just a fortnight ago, the participation of Agustin Tapia - also sponsored by Nox - in the Premier Padel Madrid was confirmed. The Argentinean star would have signed a document releasing NOX from responsibility in case WPT decides to take legal action. In an article published by the newspaper Ole, the brand commented that "Agustin (Tapia) can freely play Premier or the circuit he decides. What we ask him is that this decision does not splash judicially to the brand".

While it seemed that Lamperti's personal decision was to stay away from the new circuit to avoid legal confrontations at the end of his career, it is now confirmed that he will be the third NOX player to participate in Premier Padel. Miguel and Jon Sanz will debut in the P1 of Argentina, which will be held from 8 to 14 August in the city of Mendoza.
