MADRID. Yesterday came the news that Ramiro Moyano and Jesús Moya will have to withdraw from the Las Rozas Open due to Covid. Today the news came that another player will miss the eighth World Padel Tour tournament for the season. Lucas Campagnolo has also tested positive in Covid-19.

The Brazilian pair Lucas Campagnolo and Lucas Bergamini are forced to withdraw from the Las Rozas Open after Campagnolo tested positive for Covid-19.

It is the third player on the men's side in two days to test positive. Yesterday came the news that both Ramiro Moyano and Jesus Moya are forced to withdraw from the Las Rozas Open with their respective partners, Uri Botello and Eduardo Alonso.

This is not the first time Lucas Campagnolo and Lucas Bergamini have withdrawn from a tournament due to Covid-19. The last time was the Marbella Masters.

”One more tournament that covid leaves us out of the tournament. I feel well, and with few symptoms, I hope it passes as soon as possible to be able to return”, writes Lucas Campagnolo on his Instagram.

Also, in this case, a Lucky Loser from the Previa replaces the Brazilian team.
