Padel court to be installed at famous US Open venue

Swedish company Instantpadel has grown globally in recent years, delivering courts to various locations worldwide. It is now official that the company will install a court at the iconic venue, The Westside Tennis Club.

The Westside Tennis Club in New York is an iconic venue for tennis competitions. The club has hosted 60 US Open editions and the Davis Cup final ten times. It is now official that the Swedish company Instantpadel will install a court at the venue during April and May.

”The members of the exclusive club will be the first ones to play on the World’s First Dual Padel and Pickleball Court Surface that Instantpadel launched last week together with Versacourt Pickleball,” writes CEO and co-founder Christoffer Granfelt about the news.

Padel Alto previously wrote about Instantpadel's unique court, which meets the specifications for both pickleball and padel. Christoffer Granfelt also writes that the company is looking forward to upcoming projects:

”This is our first step into the US market, and we look forward to all future projects ahead of us.”

In recent years, Instantpadel has installed around 150 courts in 17 different countries. Today, their courts have been set up in several places, such as Soho Club, London, Kuwait, the Alps, beaches, and shopping centers, to name just a few of the cool places.
