Al-Khelaifi: "The conversations with Damm are going very well"
The Qatari businessman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, president of the investment fund QSI, spoke at MARCA Sport Weekend about the negotiations between World Padel Tour and Premier Padel.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi was one of the guests at the MARCA Sport Weekend gala, a prestigious event that brings together many of the most important personalities in world sport. There, the Qatari entrepreneur (president of Paris Saint Germain and also of the investment fund QSI) made reference to the latest news of the Premier Padel circuit.
Al-Khelaifi expressed his satisfaction with the results achieved by Premier Padel, just one year after its creation. He also highlighted the incorporation of the women's draw to the circuit from the next Major of Rome, to be held at the Foro Italico from 10 to 16 July.
"The players came to me during the 2021 World Cup in November in Qatar... and in just a few months we were at Roland Garros! Now they will all be at the Foro Italico in Rome, both the boys and the girls," the Qatari told Marca.
The president of Qatar Sports Investments also referred to the negotiations that his investment fund is holding with the Damm group, owner of the World Padel Tour. Al-Khelaifi commented that "the talks with Damm for the future of padel are going very well", so there could be news soon.
