Seven teams have withdrawn from the WPT in Argentina — here are the pairs
Not just Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan are missing the World Padel Tour's competition in La Rioja, Argentina.
Seven teams have withdrawn from the tournament on the men´s side, which is very unusual.
Padel Alto has reported this morning that Juan Lebron and Alejandro Galan will miss the upcoming WPT tournament in La Rioja, Argentina. The reason is an injury to Ale Galan, and his medical team has advised him not to participate.
According to information from Spanish Marca, Coki Nieto, and Pablo Lima will also miss the tournament after Lima suffered a knee injury during Premier Padel's Qatar Major last week.
Seven teams have been forced to withdraw from the men's competition.
Here are all seven teams:
- Alejandro Galan/Juan Lebron
- Coki Nieto/Pablo Lima
- Mike Yanguas/Alejandro Arroyo
- Jorge Ruiz/Javi Rico.
- Sergio Alba/Deni Perino.
- Jaime Fermosell/José Jimenez
- Mario Del Castillo/Miguel Benitez.
As you can see, Mike Yanguas and his partner Alex Arroyo are also missing. The reason is an injury to Arroyo, which means the pair will also miss the next two World Padel Tour tournaments in Chile and Paraguay.
