After playing with the legend — he introduced his new partner

After finishing the year alongside legend Juan Martin Diaz, Andalusian Miguel Benitez presented Mario del Castillo as his new partner for 2023.

Spaniards Miguel Benitez and Mario del Castillo became one of the new pairings for the 2023 season. The players will join forces looking to consolidate their place in the main draw, after having a rather irregular year.

Benitez, got his best result of the year with Zalo Rubio, with whom he reached the quarterfinals of the Malaga Open WPT, after giving the surprise of the tournament by eliminating Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron in a splendid match.

After his split with Rubio in September, the current number 51 of the ranking, shared court with the legend of padel Juan Martin Diaz, with whom he did not achieve the expected results.

Now, Benitez will join forces with the Sevillian Mario del Castillo, who is coming off a season in which he has not been able to find his footing after many changes of partners.
