They split up: ”It's never easy to say goodbye to a partner”
One of the longest-running couples on the circuit, Pincho Fernandez and Jose Garcia Diestro, say goodbye to each other after more than two years of sharing the court.
In padel, it is a rarity to see couples that maintain a joint project betting on the work over time and beyond the results. This is the case of one of the most long-lived couples of modern padel, which end today.
Pincho Fernandez and Jose Garcia Diestro ended a partnership that began in September 2019, more than two years ago.
"A chapter with Pincho Fernandez is coming to an end. It's never easy to say goodbye to a partner, let alone a friend. Thank you, Pincho, for having accompanied me in this project," Garcia Diestro said on his social networks when announcing the news.
The number twelve ranked couple alternated a year between good and bad sensations, reaching the finals of the Challenger Final in Menorca and winning the APT title in Tenerife as the best results.
The duo has not yet announced their partners for the next season.
