ANNONS

He was left behind suddenly by his old partner Javi Garrido. Now Lucas Campagnolo is back as a winner, in his old position with his new partner Jon Sanz. The pair won the round of 16 against the finalists from Madrid.

Brazilian Lucas Campagnolo became angry with his former partner Javi Garrido when the latter chose to leave him for Federico Chingotto. Something he was open about in an interview with Padel Alto.

Now the dancing "Campa" is back again as a winner, at his old position on the backhand where he spent many seasons with compatriot Lucas Bergamini.

The new constellation with Campagnolo/Jon Sanz knocked out Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz in three sets, 6-4, 6-7, 6-3. A pair who have shown good form recently, with finals at the Madrid Masters and semi-finals at the Amsterdam Open.

Tomorrow the Menorca Open quarter-finals await when the team faces another tough opponent: Franco Stupaczuk and Pablo Lima.
