Former player join the WPT Sports Department
With over 300 matches on the World Padel Tour, Uri Botello is joining the tour's Sports Department. The player ended his career last summer due to injury.
The World Padel Tour faces a series of tough challenges. During the Menorca Open, the tour's management will meet with the players to announce a series of changes for the upcoming season.
Now the WPT is strengthening its Sports Department with the popular former player: Uri Botello. Botello has played over 300 matches and formed a successful pairing with Javi Ruiz, among others, for several seasons.
He will contribute with his experience of more than fifteen years as a professional in the field of the sports management of World Padel Tour tournaments.
Botello won two Challenger titles, went to three Open finals, and reached 9th in the World Padel Tour rankings as a player. Due to injuries, the player announced his retirement this summer.
