Messi about his hidden passion for padel: ”I play quite often”

Frenkie De Jong, Thibaut Courtois and Carles Puyol. Everyone plays padel. In a video interview with the Argentine newspaper Diario Olé, Leo Messi reveals his interest in padel. 
— We play every third day, Leo Messi says about his other passions besides football. 

The Barcelona captain spoke in a video interview with Diario Olé about his personal life, family, and secret passions. 

When asked about hidden passions, Messi replied: 

— I like padel and I watch tennis. I play quite often with Pepe Costa, I run, and he shows his quality. We don´t play a lot either because we have a match every three days, but I like it, Messi says to Diario Olé. 

Pepe Costa is Leo Messi's friend and advisor. 

The list of football players that like padel is long. It is already known that current and former players like Frenkie De Jong, Thibaut Courtois, Francesco Totti, Gerard Pique, and Carles Puyol play and watch padel. 

Puyol is often seen in the stands during the World Padel Tour and is also a good friend to Fernando Belasteguin, which Padel Alto had written about earlier in an interview with Bela's manager, Teddy Puig.
