First title in 105 days for Sanchez and Josemaria

Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria ended their winless streak and claimed their first title since June by winning Milano P1.

Last week’s Milano P1 saw Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea withdraw from the tournament in the semifinals, which meant Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez advanced directly to the final.

There they played against Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria, who had defeated Andrea Ustero and Sofia Araujo 6–3, 6–1 in their semifinal.

In the final, Sanchez and Josemaria won 6–2, 6–4 to secure their first title since Valladolid in June.

Since then, the pair had struggled and lost several finals, but in Italy they managed to win again.

The next Premier Padel tournament will be played at the end of the month in Egypt.
