Galan/Coello vs Tapia/Lebron – the tournaments during the summer break
Premier Padel is taking a summer break, but that doesn’t mean the world’s top players are putting their rackets away. In the coming weeks, several exhibition tournaments and team competitions will take place in different parts of the world – featuring many of the tour’s biggest names.
For the third year in a row, the World Padel League is being held – a team competition with six different teams, featuring stars such as Alejandra Salazar, Javi Leal, Claudia Fernandez, Marta Ortega, Coki Nieto and Sofia Araujo. The tournament will be played in India between August 12 and 16.

At the same time, attention turns to the South African Invitational, held between August 15 and 17. Several of the world’s top male players are participating, including Arturo Coello, Martin Di Nenno, Franco Stupaczuk, Agustin Tapia, Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron.
Fernando Belasteguín is also making a comeback to take part in the tournament.
The highlight is expected to be the final match between Galan/Coello and Tapia/Lebron.

Between August 14 and 17, the Pro Padel League (PPL) takes place in Mexico – a team event featuring several top players. Among those competing are Federico Chingotto, Juan Tello, Victoria Iglesias, Beatriz Caldera Sanchez, Tamara Icardo and Tolito Aguirre.
Earlier this year, the PPL was held in both the USA and Spain – now it’s Mexico’s turn to host.
