Won a year after the withdrawal: ”I’m super happy”

Bea González got her revenge in Málaga. Together with Claudia Fernandez, she took home the title in her hometown.

“That's life as an athlete, sometimes things like that happen,” Bea González said, according to Marca, a year ago when an injury forced her to withdraw from the semifinals of the Premier Padel Málaga P1.

But this time, she got her revenge. Together with Claudia Fernandez, she won the final against Marta Ortega and Tamara Icardo 6–2, 6–1.

The home favorite received great support from the crowd in Málaga:
