This is how much prize money the winners earned at the Italy Major

Italy Major concluded last week – and now the newspaper Sport reports how much prize money was awarded to the players in the tournament.

One of the season's major highlights took place in Italy last week as the second Major tournament of the year was held.

On the men's side, Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto ended their losing streak against Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia – and claimed the title.

On the women's side, Delfi Brea and Gemma Triay secured the win after a strong performance throughout the tournament.

According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, the winners received 48.000 euros per player.

The runners-up were awarded 24.000 euros per player, while the semifinalists received 13.325 euros.

Players who reached the quarterfinals earned 8.660 euros.
