Tapia and Chingotto to play together in Miami
The Pro Padel League is back – and this year, the tour expands beyond the United States. The 2025 season begins in Miami, followed by events in Spain and Mexico, before wrapping up with two final stops in the U.S.
The opening tournament kicks off this Thursday in Miami and runs through Sunday, with matches played throughout the day and the final scheduled for Sunday.
Ahead of the season opener, it’s been confirmed that Agustín Tapia will play alongside Fede Chingotto – a duo typically seen as rivals on the Premier Padel tour, but who teamed up during the World Cup.
According to the league, this move marks “The first ever trade in Pro Padel League”. Miami Padel Club and New York Atlantics have reached an agreement that sees Fede Chingotto join Miami, while Jon Sanz and Ari Sánchez move to New York.
