How the new major tournament works – same points as a Major

This fall, a new tournament will be played – the FIP World Cup Pairs. It will be the first time this event is held, and it gives the same number of ranking points as a Major.

Kuwait will host the first edition of the FIP World Cup Pairs from November 3 to 9, 2025, according to Premier Padel.

The winners will get 2,000 FIP ranking points. The prize pool is over one million euros.

The main court will be at The Arena Kuwait, and other matches will take place at the Rafa Nadal Academy.

Qualification is based on the FIP ranking after the P1 tournament in Milan.

The tournament includes a qualifying round and a main draw with 48 men’s pairs and 40 women’s pairs.
