Padium to open Wales’ largest indoor padel venue

Padium, which currently operates a facility in London, is expanding outside the capital for the first time with a new venue in Cardiff.

The 35,000-square-foot club will be located in Cardiff Bay Retail Park and is set to open in late summer 2025. It will include eight indoor courts, making it the largest and most advanced indoor padel venue in Wales, according to the company’s press release.

The launch of the new club aligns with the major redevelopment of Cardiff Bay, which includes a 15,000-capacity indoor arena, new homes, office space, and leisure facilities.
