Talents close to knocking out the world number twos
It was an exciting match yesterday between Andrea Ustero and Alejandra Alonso against Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea. After a close and dramatic battle, Triay and Brea secured their spot in the quarterfinals.

Young talents Andrea Ustero and Alejandra Alonso, seeded ninth, faced a tough challenge against the newly formed duo of Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea.
The match went to three sets, with Triay and Brea taking the first 6-4. Ustero and Alonso responded by winning the second set 7-5, but in the final set, Triay and Brea broke early and held their lead all the way to victory.
The final score was 6-4, 5-7, 6-4.
Today, Triay and Brea face Lucia Sainz and Patricia Llaguno in the quarterfinals.
