Surprise in Premier Padel – Tello and Libaak through to the quarterfinals

The first Premier Padel tournament of the year has started in Riyadh, providing an early indication of the pairs' level. Yesterday, Juan Tello and Tino Libaak won over Paquito Navarro and Lucas Bergamini.

On paper, it was an upset, as 15th-seeded Tello and Libaak won over quarterfinal-seeded Navarro and Bergamini.

The match began with Navarro and Bergamini taking the first set 6-2, but the Argentine duo turned it around, winning two straight tiebreaks.

The final score was 2–6, 7–6, 7–6 in favor of Tello and Libaak.

Tonight, they face their next challenge against Mike Yanguas and Coki Nieto.
