Several Tournaments Unconfirmed – Uncertainty Ahead of Premier Padel 2025
The new Premier Padel season is approaching, but several tournaments still lack confirmed dates, venues, or guarantees that they will take place. Here, we go through the uncertainties that remain ahead of the season.
Premier Padel has released its 2025 calendar with 24 tournaments in 16 countries. Among the new additions are more events in Spain, as well as debuts in the USA, Buenos Aires, Cancún, and Germany. However, several question marks remain.
Until recently, it was unclear where the season’s second tournament would be held, but Premier Padel has now confirmed that it will take place in Gijón.
Still, a P1 tournament in Spain, scheduled for April 28 to May 4, has yet to secure a venue. Last year, a P2 event was held in Seville during spring, and the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo names Valencia, Bilbao, Menorca, and Galicia as possible options.
Another uncertainty is the Scandinavia P2 event, where neither the country nor the city has been confirmed.
In September, the Paris Major is set to take place, but according to the calendar, its agreement is still being renewed. Last year’s edition was held in October and attracted 64,000 spectators—an increase of 73 percent from the year before.
Additionally, it remains unclear whether Germany’s P2 tournament will be played from September 15–21 or September 22–28, as both dates are listed in the calendar.
