Galan/Chingotto won against the world number ones - but Tapia/Coello secured the title
Last weekend, the Reserve Cup took place. Galan/Chingotto and Tapia/Coello played on opposing teams and faced each other in one of the matches. That match ended with a win for Galan and Chingotto in a super tiebreak.
With just two weeks until Premier Padel starts, several tournaments not linked to the tour are being held. This weekend, the Hexagon Cup will take place, while the Reserve Cup was played last weekend.
In the Reserve Cup, two teams competed, with Galan/Chingotto and Tapia/Coello on opposite sides. They played against each other on the final day, where Galan and Chingotto won 3–6, 7–6, 10–3.
Although Galan and Chingotto won that match, it was Tapia and Coello’s team, including Di Nenno, Nieto, Gonzalez, Sanz, Alonso, and Ruiz, that won the tournament.
