Confirmed: Sanz and Nieto Split After Success

ANNONS

After achieving their greatest success by winning the Tour Finals against Coello and Tapia, it is now confirmed that Jon Sanz and Coki Nieto will end their partnership. The news was confirmed on Instagram following Padel Alto's earlier report.

Jon Sanz and Coki Nieto began their partnership in the summer of 2023, playing together for a year and a half. This year, along with Coello and Tapia, they were one of the few pairs to maintain their partnership throughout the entire season. Their performance peaked at the Tour Finals, where they delivered a surprising victory over Coello and Tapia in the final.

Both players have now confirmed their split. Padel Alto revealed the news two weeks ago, and on Instagram, both Sanz and Nieto shared their gratitude for their time together.

"With great sadness... we put an end to the Nieto-Sanz partnership. I’m leaving with an incredible friend, a person who, for more than a year and a half, made my work pure joy," Sanz wrote.

"It has been a pleasure sharing the court with you, Jony. We’ve given it our all during this time, and I think the results have been very good," Nieto wrote.

Coki Nieto is expected to team up with Mike Yanguas, while Jon Sanz is likely to partner with Momo Gonzalez.
