ANNONS

The semifinals are over, and the finals are set. On the men’s side, Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia will face Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz in a match to conclude the season in Barcelona.

Reaching the final of this year’s major tournaments, featuring the world’s elite players, has not been an easy task. However, the Tour Finals in Barcelona—the year’s biggest and final event—delivered a surprise in the quarterfinals.

Alejandro Galan and Federico Chingotto, one of the season’s strongest pairs, were defeated by Momo Gonzalez and Eduardo Alonso. This unexpected loss opened the door for a new pair to secure a place in the final.

In the semifinals, Gonzalez and Alonso faced Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz. After defeating Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas earlier in the tournament, Nieto and Sanz continued their strong performance and secured the final spot with a 6-3, 7-5 victory.

Tomorrow, Nieto and Sanz will face Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia in the men’s final.

On the women’s side, Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria will play against Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernandez for the title.
