Through to the Semifinals in Their Final Tournament Together

In the quarterfinals, Triay and Fernandez faced Claudia Jensen and Tamara Icardo. The duo started strongly and won the first set 6-2. However, their opponents came back in the second set, winning it 6-4 and forcing a decisive third set.

The final set was an intense battle, with both pairs having their chances. After several breaks back and forth, it was Triay and Fernandez who eventually secured the victory, taking the set 7-5.

The result sends them to the semifinals, where they will face Delfina Brea and Veronica Virseda.

For Triay and Fernandez, their partnership continues for at least one more match. However, after the tournament, both players will move on to new partnerships. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Gemma Triay is expected to pair with Delfina Brea next season.
