Sources: Lebron and Stupa to team up
A new partnership could become reality next year. The Spanish newspaper Marca reports that Juan Lebron plans to team up with Franco Stupaczuk starting in 2025.
A few weeks ago, rumors began to circulate that Lebron and Martin Di Nenno would part ways after this season. At the time, Pádel y Cervecitas reported that Lebron was expected to pair with Leo Augsburger next year.
Now, new information from Marca suggests that Lebron instead wants to return to the forehand side and partner with Franco Stupaczuk. If this partnership happens, they would be seeded third.
“The main candidate to become his partner is Franco Stupaczuk, a name that has gained attention in recent hours, according to what both MARCA and VeinteDiez have learned. The player from Chaco has played the second half of the season with Mike Yanguas – who is already aware of the Argentine’s decision to end their partnership – and is currently the main option for ‘Lobo.’ However, sources close to the situation tell this newspaper that it is not yet finalized, but they hope to make a final decision in the coming days,” Marca writes.
Neither Lebron nor Stupaczuk has commented on the reports.
