Premier Padel record - longest match ever played
During the Milano Premier Padel P1, history was made when Sofia Saiz and Marina Lobo played Virginia Riera and Marta Borrero. With the scores 6-7, 6-3, 7-6, the match became the longest in Premier Padel history, with a playing time of exactly four hours.
The match between Saiz/Lobo and Riera/Borrero is now the longest in Premier Padel history, with four hours on court.
The new record beats the previous record of 3 hours and 46 minutes, set in Paris last year by Bea Caldera and Ana Catarina Nogueira, who defeated the Sánchez Alayeto twins in a tough three- set match.
Previous marathon matches in Premier Padel
Bea González and Delfi Brea played a match earlier this year in Mar del Plata against Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernández, which lasted 3 hours and 28 minutes - at the time the second longest in Premier Padel history.
Another long match was recently played during Valladolid P2. Nuria Rodríguez and Carolina Orsi defeated Aranza Osoro and Verónica Virseda after 3 hours and 27 minutes.
