Took over 16th place after the win - here are the standings for the Tour Finals
With just two tournaments left, the players who will qualify for this year's Tour Finals will soon be decided. Between 19 and 22 December, the world's best padel players will gather in Barcelona and the hunt for the final spots is now in its final stages.
The Tour Finals, based on the 22 best results of the year, will bring together the 16 highest ranked players on the men's and women's side. The two remaining competitions will play a decisive role in determining who gets the chance to participate in the season finale.
On the women's side, Alejandra Alonso has moved into the final qualifying spot, 16th, after winning the FIP event in Mexico together with Lucía Sainz. The win earned Alonso 250 points and knocked Aranza Osoro, who is now 150 points outside the qualifying zone.
On the men's side, there has also been a change. Sanyo Gutiérrez has lost his qualifying position and is now in 18th place, while Alex Ruiz has moved into 16th place after his victory in the same FIP event.
