Bela's big celebration in Barcelona - reuniting with former partners
Fernando Belasteguín, the greatest padel player of all time, will end his professional career at the end of this season. After 30 years on the court, his final tournament will be the Premier Padel P1 Milano, followed by a grand tribute during the Tour Finals in Barcelona.
With 230 titles to his name, Belasteguín’s career has shaped the history of padel. Only two tournaments remain for him on the world tour before his career officially comes to an end, and with a low chance of qualifying for the Tour Finals, the Milano event next week is expected to be his last competition.
Despite this, Bela will attend the Tour Finals in Barcelona on December 21, where he will be celebrated with a tribute match. Several of his former partners, including Juan Martín Díaz, Seba Nerone, Juani Mieres, Gaby Reca, and Pablo Lima, will participate. Additionally, two close friends, former footballer Carles Puyol and DJ Gianluca Vacchi, are also expected to join the event.
The Tour Finals will be played on December 19-22 in Barcelona and will be an opportunity for the padel world to say goodbye to the sport's greatest of all time.
