Today the finals took place in Kuwait, where Ariana Sanchez and Paula Josemaria faced Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernandez. The match was close and intense, but in the decisive moments Sanchez and Josemaria showed why they are the best pair in the world. With their 7-5, 7-6 victory, they secured another title.
The win means that the pair now have 36 titles together, making them the second most successful pair in the history of padel, alongside Pablo Lima and Fernando Belasteguin. They have also secured the number one spot in the world rankings for the year, an achievement that underlines their dominance.
Now a week's break from Premier Padel awaits before the next big competition, a Major, held in Mexico.
