Decided to separate in the Hexagon Cup - now they reunite in the competition
Before the Premier Padel season started, Gemma Triay decided to break her partnership with Marta Ortega. Afterward, she told that the decision was made during the Hexagon Cup. Now it's clear that the two will be reunited in next year's edition of the competition.
Gemma Triay decided to end her partnership with Marta Ortega at the beginning of the year after the pair failed to advance from the Hexagon Cup group stage.
- In Hexagon I made the decision, yes, but nothing happened at all, simply what I said before, that when we returned to competition the blocking that did not allow us to compete and did not allow us to have fun either was confirmed, she told Spanish newspaper Marca in February.
Now it is clear that the two will reunite in the Hexagon Cup 2025, where they will represent the Rafa Nadal Academy powered by Richard Mille. The team also includes Álex Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk, as well as Noa Cánovas and Noemí Aguilar.
The tournament takes place from January 29 to February 2.
