Confirmed: Here are the differences between the Premier Padel final and WPT's Master final

ANNONS

The season is nearing its end, and with it comes the traditional closing tournament where the top padel players compete. This year, however, Premier Padel takes over the event with an interesting twist that sets it apart from the World Padel Tour.

For the past ten years, the WPT season has traditionally concluded with the prestigious Master Final, where the top 16 players come together to battle for the season’s final title. This year, Premier Padel is hosting the event, maintaining the format of the top 16 players competing – but with a new twist.

A notable addition to this year's final is the introduction of a "bronze match" in which the semifinal losers will face off for third place on Sunday. This brings two extra matches for fans in Barcelona, with both ranking points and prize money at stake.

The prize distribution and points for the tournament are as follows:

  • Winners: 1,500 points + €52,500 (per player)
  • Finalists: 900 points + €30,000 (per player)
  • Third place: 600 points + €21,000 (per player)
  • Fourth place: 400 points + €13,500 (per player)
  • Quarterfinalists: 270 points + €7,688 (per player)

The tournament will take place from December 19–22 in Barcelona.
