The decision is purely to take care of his physical condition. Paquito has chosen to take an additional week of rest in preparation for the remainder of the season. It's worth noting that the Spanish player is part of Spain's squad for the World Championship in Qatar, scheduled for the week following the New Giza tournament.

For Paquito Navarro, it will be three consecutive weeks of competition: the World Championship, the Dubai P1, and the Kuwait P1. This is why he decided to skip the P2 event, which has less significance in terms of ranking points and prize money.
