Sanyo Gutiérrez switches to the backhand side and already has a new partner

Sanyo Gutiérrez has decided to give himself a chance on the backhand side to play with José Antonio García Diestro. This will be the Argentine's fifth partner so far this season.

The "Padel y Cervecitas" account revealed on X that Sanyo will no longer be playing with Víctor Ruiz. The "Magician" will move to the backhand side to give himself an opportunity alongside the left-handed García Diestro.

Sanyo started the season with Paquito Navarro, and has since teamed up with Maxi Sánchez, Álex Arroyo, and Víctor Ruiz. It hasn’t been the best year for the Argentine, who has struggled to establish a concrete and long-term project.

This won’t be the first time we see Sanyo playing on the backhand side, as last year, during the Master Final, he shared the court with Mike Yanguas and played from that position.
