A top star returns to the courts

It's not been an easy year for Bea González. After winning four titles in a row, injuries caused her to miss two of the Majors in 2024. The ‘Perla del Palo’ has posted a story announcing her return to training.

Bea's last match was in the Madrid final, where she had to withdraw during the second set. Since then, she has missed the tournaments in Rotterdam, Valladolid, and Paris.

Although the player from Málaga has returned to the court to train with her partner Delfi Brea, the team's plan is not to rush her return to competition to avoid a relapse.

This is why Delfi Brea has signed up for the New Giza P2 in Egypt with Lucía Sainz. After two strong tournaments with Andrea Ustero, the Argentine player will team up with the experienced player for the last event before the World Championship.

Bea González will make her comeback at the World Championship in Qatar, where she has been called up by Icíar Montes to be part of the Spanish delegation. It's only a matter of time before we see her shining on the court again.
