Tapia and Coello secured final spot and set new record

Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello not only secured their place in tomorrow’s Paris Major final at Roland Garros, they also broke their own Premier Padel record today by claiming their 24th consecutive victory.

At 8:00 PM, the third semifinal kicked off on the center court at Roland Garros. World number ones Tapia and Coello entered the match as favorites, facing Miguel Yanguas and Franco Stupaczuk in a contest filled with intense rallies.

Tapia and Coello took control of the first set, winning 6-3. The second set was much more even, with both pairs winning their serve games until 3-3. Then Tapia and Coello managed to break their opponents and kept the lead until victory with the scores 6-3, 6-4.

With this win, Tapia and Coello have now surpassed their previous Premier Padel record, extending their unbeaten run to 24 matches. In tomorrow’s final, they have the chance to further extend this streak. Their opponents are yet to be decided, as Galan/Chingotto and Di Nenno/Lebron are battling for the remaining final spot.
