Confirmed: Galan could face Lebron in the semi-finals in Paris
The match between Galán/Chingotto and Lebrón/Di Nenno has been a long time coming, but unlucky draws and Lebrón and Di Nenno's missed finals have meant that it has yet to happen. Now, however, at one of the biggest events of the year - the Paris Major - it looks like it could happen in the semi-finals. The two former teammates, Galán and Lebrón, have been drawn on the same side of the draw.
It's always a heated match between Galán and Lebrón, given their shared success in the padel world. When Lebrón and Navarro finally met Galán and Chingotto in Italy, after a long wait, Lebrón/Navarro took the first set but then fell in two straight sets.
With Lebrón now paired with Martin Di Nenno, the padel world has continued to hope for a match against Galán and Chingotto. However, due to previous draws where the pairs have ended up on opposite sides and the lack of final spots for Lebrón/Di Nenno, it has not happened.
However, with the draw for the Paris Major completed on Saturday, it looks like the meeting could happen as early as the semi-finals, if both pairs keep their seeding and progress. It sets the stage for one of the most exciting duels of the year.
