The streak continues - top pairs through to the final
The semi-finals of the Premier Padel P2 in Valladolid have been finalised, and we now have the pairs that will fight for the title. Today's matches featured both close battles and convincing victories. Here's a summary of how today's semi-finals played out.
Women's semi-finals
In the first semi-final, fourth seeds Andrea Ustero and Delfina Brea faced the second seeds Claudia Fernández and Gemma Triay. Fernández and Triay showed their class, winning the match in straight sets with the scores 6-4, 6-3, thereby securing their place in the final.
In the second semi-final, top seeds Ariana Sánchez and Paula Josemaría faced third seeds Marta Ortega and Sofia Araújo. Sánchez and Josemaría continued their strong form and advanced to the final by winning 6-2, 6-3.
Men's semi-finals
Pablo Cardona and Paquito Navarro, seeded fifth, faced second seeds Federico Chingotto and Alejandro Galán in an exciting semi-final. Chingotto and Galán were the strongest and advanced to the final after a tough match that ended 6-4, 7-6.
