After long injury break - world stars go their separate ways

ANNONS

Tamara Icardo has been struggling in recent weeks with a long-term injury that has kept her off the padel court and forced her partner, Alejandra Salazar, to find a temporary replacement. It is now clear that Icardo and Salazar will not be reunited on the court, instead going their separate ways.

At the end of May, Tamara Icardo was forced to withdraw from the Santiago P1 due to her injury, resulting in her not being able to return to play. Her absence has forced Alejandra Salazar to look for a new partner for the next Premier Padel competition in September, where she will now play alongside Jessica Castello.

It is now clear that the pair are going their separate ways. The announcement was confirmed by Tamara Icardo on Instagram with the words:

“I just wanted to let you know that Ale and I have parted ways. I wish you all the best in your new project Ale! In the meantime, we are still focused on my recovery and getting back to competition”
