Premier Padel announces US expansion in 2025

This morning Premier Padel released big news. The competition in Sweden will not be decided in October and the US will be part of next year's calendar.

Premier Padel's 2024 schedule was presented in full at the end of last year. The schedule showed that a P2 tournament, the third category of Premier Padel, was scheduled to be held on Swedish soil between October 7 and 13. But where this tournament would be played was never communicated.

Now Premier Padel has confirmed that the competition will not take place this fall.

”The planned Sweden Premier Padel P2 will not take place in October 2024, to ensure better spacing and more balanced intervals during a particularly busy period for players.”

It remains to be seen if the competition is postponed or if it is canceled. In the same release, Premier Padel mentions that the 2025 calendar will be released soon, with a new venue:

”The 2025 calendar is coming soon, with a planned expansion in the US, marking a new era for the #QatarAirwaysPremierPadel Tour in one of the world’s most influential sports markets”.
