Padel will not be an Olympic sport in Los Angeles in 2028 - but there is still a chance that the sport will be represented at the Brisbane Olympics in 2032. Now Spanish player Marta Ortega speaks out about the Olympic dream.

Many in the padel world, both players and fans, hope that the sport will one day become an Olympic sport. Despite being one of the fastest growing sports in the world, it is now clear that padel will not be part of the Olympic program for Los Angeles 2028.

The hopes are instead focused on the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. In an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Espanol, Marta Ortega talks about her Olympic dream:

— I would love to see padel in the Olympics, it would be a dream come true. It must be an indescribable and unforgettable feeling. To be able to represent your country is a privilege and if it's with the other athletes, in the Olympic village, competing at the same time, I think it's the best thing an athlete can aspire towards.
