Luigi Carraro, president of the FIP, meets with Gianni Infantino
ANNONS
Luigi Carraro, president of the International Padel Federation (FIP), and Gianni Infantino, president of FIFA, held a meeting during the Olympic Games to strengthen ties and continue adding strategic partners with the goal of making padel an Olympic sport.
Carraro shared a photo on social media where Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, owner of Premier Padel, also appears. He mentioned that it was a pleasure to visit FIFA's offices in Paris and that the three of them "discussed their passion for both sports and the next steps for our global growth and development."
It’s worth noting that padel's main goal is to be included in the Olympic Games. Carraro also met with Thomas Bach, president of the International Olympic Committee.
While the aim for Los Angeles 2028 still seems challenging, Brisbane 2032 is gaining significant momentum. The Olympic dream is still alive.
