Confirmed: New partnership announced

ANNONS

Tino Libaak and Leandro Augsburger, two of the padel world's most promising young talents, have decided to end their partnership. At the same time, it is revealed that Augsburger will now play alongside Chozas, Libaak's last partner.

It was two years ago, in Argentina, that the world first caught the eye of super talents Tino Libaak and Leandro Augsburger. In 2023, they reached two finals on the World Padel Tour, a achievement that did not go unnoticed. But the journey there was far from easy.

Despite early successes, the duo chose to go their separate ways after a WPT final, only to reunite a few months later. The second adventure brought results and led to another World Tour final. However, when Premier Padel took over, and the points system changed, they lost their points and fell outside the top 100 in the rankings.

Despite the setbacks, Libaak and Augsburger managed to climb back into the top 50 over the past year, with a quarter-final being their biggest achievement. But now they have parted ways again.

Leandro Augsburger recently announced the decision via his Instagram, where he expressed his gratitude for the time they spent together:

"Thank you so much for our travels together, brother. I learned a lot by your side and I know we worked hard to achieve what we did in a short time".

The last tournament Libaak played together with Chozas, but now it is clear that it is Augsburger who will take over as Chozas' partner going forward. Meanwhile, it is unclear who Libaak will play with in the future.
