Premier Padel arrives in Finland for its last tournament of the season before the summer break. It will be a week marked by the debut of several pairs and the absence of others. Here’s everything you need to know.

Points

The Finland tournament is a P2, so the champions will earn 500 points for the ranking, which is tighter than ever. The finalists will get 300 points, the semifinalists 180, and the quarterfinalists 90.

It will be the seventh P2 tournament of the season in Premier Padel. After this week, there will be three weeks of inactivity. The circuit will return in September with the Madrid P1.

Top 4

Coello-Tapia and Chingotto-Galán will be absent from this tournament. Cardona-Navarro, Stupa-Yanguas, and Di Nenno-Lebrón will debut.

In the women’s draw, the big news is the absence of Bea González, who had to withdraw in Málaga. Triay-Fernández will also be absent. The number 1 pair, Sánchez-Josemaría, will also be prominent.

Where to watch - TV

The early rounds of the tournament can be watched on Premier Padel's YouTube channel. From the quarterfinals onwards, the Finland P2 can be enjoyed exclusively on Red Bull TV, a free download application.

Prize money and news

The P2 category tournament will distribute €250,000.

It will be the first tournament for major pairs like Lebrón and Di Nenno or Stupa and Yanguas. The initial impressions have been positive according to their new coaches. The absence of the number 1 and 2 pairs opens the door for them to debut with a win.

Court conditions

The Finland tournament will be indoor. Although it is summer, in Nordic countries the temperatures are not very high, and this is noticeable even inside the stadium. An intermediate court is expected.
