Confirmed: Here are all the new pairs registered for Finland P2

ANNONS

Over the past week, there have been significant changes in the world of padel. This after the remarkable news that Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuks are going their separate ways. The announcement has opened the door for many new couples to make their debut on the world tour.
Here Padel Alto summarises all the new couples.

A few weeks ago, reports started to circulate that Martin Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk would end their partnership. Just a few hours later, the players themselves confirmed the news. Stupaczuk wrote that it was his partner's decision and that he respects it:

"It's been a year and a half in which we have fought to the fullest, especially in 2023 where we fought for the number one spot until the last tournament of the season."

The players' separation has resulted in Martin Di Nenno choosing to team up with Juan Lebron. The players are registered for the P2 competition in Finland at the end of the month.

Two options for Stupaczuk

For Franco Stupaczuk, there were two options: Miguel Yanguas or Pablo Cardona. Now it's clear that Stupaczuk is starting a partnership with Yanguas. But it was not so far away that the choice fell on Cardona. In an interview with Spanish Diario Marca, the talent said:

"I spoke to Stupa and Pozzoni (Stupa's coach). They asked me how I was feeling and what my plans were. They were clear from the start. They told me that their first choice was Yanguas and that I was the second choice, and that they wanted to be among the top four pairs in terms of points. In the end, he paired with Yanguas."

But Cardona will still enter a new partnership. He will play the competition in Finland with Paquito Navarro.

"I will play with Paquito in Finland. But that's the only tournament we've agreed on, then we'll talk and decide if we're going to continue or not," said Cardona in a video with journalist Emiliano Carchia.

It's also clear that Javi Garrido is teaming up with Alex Ruiz after going separate ways with Yanguas. This has resulted in Momo Gonzalez starting to play with Edu Alonso.

New pairs:

Juan Lebron and Martin Di Nenno
Franco Stupaczuk and Mike Yanguas
