Ruiz after the withdrawal: "I was really looking forward to the tournament"

The draw for Genova P2 took place last Monday, with Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz missing from the pairs. Now Ruiz explains why the couple was forced to withdraw from the competition at the last minute.
- I'm very sorry that we can't participate in the P2 in Genova because of a fever that won't go away, writes the player on Instagram.

Momo Gonzalez and Alex Ruiz were forced to withdraw from this week's Premier Padel competition at the last minute. Ruiz has now confirmed that he suffered a fever that did not go away before the tournament started.

"I am very sorry for not being able to participate in the P2 in Genova due to a fever that won't go away. I was really looking forward to returning to Italy and playing this tournament in such a special place."

He continues:

"Already thinking about recovering as soon as possible to give everything next week at home".

Next week is the Malaga P1.
