All you need to know about the Genoa P2: TV, prizes, top 4, and more

ANNONS

Premier Padel arrives in Genoa to compete in its second consecutive tournament in Italy following the Major in Rome. It will be an emotionally charged week after the announcement of several top pairs splitting up. Unlike Bordeaux, all pairs will be present.

Points

The Genoa tournament is a P2 event, meaning the champions will earn 500 ranking points in what is now a tightly contested ranking race. Finalists will receive 300 points, semifinalists 180, and quarterfinalists 90.

This will be the sixth P2 tournament of the season in Premier Padel and the penultimate event before the summer break (with Malaga and Finland still to come).

Top 4

Coello-Tapia, Chingotto-Galán, Lebrón-Paquito, and Di Nenno-Stupa will participate in the men's draw, unlike what happened in Bordeaux. It's noteworthy that both the 'Superpibes' and Paquito-Lebrón have announced they will no longer be playing together.

In the women's draw, the big news is the return of Bea González, who has recovered from her injury. The number 1 pair, Sánchez-Josemaría, will also be key protagonists.

Men's Rankings

1- Coello-Tapia
2- Chingotto-Galán
3- Stupaczuk-Di Nenno
4- Lebrón-Paquito

Women's Rankings

1- Sánchez-Josemaría
2- Brea-González
3- Triay-Fernández
4- Ortega-Araújo

Where to Watch - TV

The early rounds of the tournament can be viewed on Premier Padel's YouTube channel. Starting from the quarterfinals, the Genoa P2 can only be enjoyed via Red Bull TV, a free downloadable application.

Prize Money and Innovations

The P2 category tournament will distribute €250,000.

This will be the penultimate tournament for great pairs like Lebrón-Navarro and Stupa-Di Nenno. It's already known that Di Nenno will partner with Lebrón starting from Finland, while Stupa will team up with Yanguas. This tournament will allow pairs to pursue a title in this pre-farewell phase.

Attention to Weather

The Genoa tournament will be held outdoors. Weather is a critical factor for any outdoor event. Forecasts suggest rain could occur on Wednesday and Thursday, potentially affecting the event's schedule.
