Galan: "Last year I talked to several players for a change"

In recent months, Ale Galan has formed a successful team with Federico Chingotto. Now Galan is speaking out about his change of partner, revealing that he spoke to several players last year to make a change.

At the beginning of the year, it was announced that Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebrón would end their partnership. This led Galán to start a new partnership with Federico Chingotto. Their partnership has proved to be very successful, with an impressive start where they reached all the finals and secured several wins.

But it was already at the end of last year that Galan started talking to several players about a possible partnership. He told the Spanish newspaper AS:

- Last year I spoke with Martín, with Fede, with several players, to find out what possible options were on the market, because I felt I needed a change.

He continues:

- Then Lebron and I had a great end to the season and we decided to start together, although the change was already in the air. I called Fede after the second tournament and he said yes. It was a gamble for both of us, because from the beginning you don't know how it will turn out.

During this week, Galan and Chingotto play their first Major together.
