Surprise in Italy - Premier Padel winners knocked out

The champions of the last competition were knocked out in their first match of the Italy Major. Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz were surprised by Jairo Bautista and Francisco Guerrero who won an exciting match in three sets.

It was an exciting match yesterday between Nieto/Sanz and Bautista/Guerrero that was decided in a third set after a double tiebreak.

In the deciding set, Guerrero/Bautista won a late break and eventually won with a score of 7-6, 6-7, 7-5.

This means that last week's winners Coki Nieto and Jon Sanz are already out of the second Major of the year.

Guerrero/Bautista will now play Libaak and Augsburger in the round of 16 tomorrow.
