After the separation - Alonso registered with new partner
Alex Arroyo and Eduardo Alonso will go their separate ways after the Premier Padel competition in Rome. It has now been confirmed that Alonso will play with Leo Augsburger in Valladolid.
Rumors began to spread on Saturday that Sanyo Gutiérrez and Maxi Sánchez would separate after the Premier Padel competition in Rome. Soon after, it was reported that Sanyo would start a partnership with Alex Arroyo.
Now it has been confirmed that Alex Arroyo and Eduardo Alonso are going their separate ways. On Instagram, Alonso writes that the decision came from his partner:
"You have been and will be a great friend to me and I honestly respect your decision and wish you all the best in your new project."
The big question since then has been who will be Eduardo Alonso's new partner. That question may now be answered as he is registered for the FIP Gold competition in Valladolid with Leo Augsburger. However, it is unclear whether this is a long-term partnership or only for this competition.
FIP Gold Valladolid will be held on June 25-29.
